The Las Ventas bullring is the largest bullring in Spain. It can fit 24,000 people. People can view bullfighting bulls. The Las Ventas bullring is also used for concerts and cultural activities. We traveled north from Granada to Madrid, the capital of Spain. Tickets to bullrings can cost from $27 to $137. Bullfighting is a popular event in Spain. But bullfighting isn't the only sport in Spain. Like many countries, the most popular sport in Spain is soccer. Spain is home to two major teams; F.C.Barcelona and Real Madrid. Spain also has the third best national team.


Basketball is the second most popular sport in Spain. Spain has the second best basketball team in the world, after the U.S. Tennis also a common sport. In May, Spain has and event called the Mutua Open, where people can compete. Padel, a sport very similar to tennis, has been growing more and more popular. A Padel court is one third the size of a tennis court. Another big sport is Cycling. Every year, Spain has an event called Vuelta a Espana. Cyclists race around Spain in this huge event.
