The Palma Cathedral also known as La Sue, is a beautiful cathedral and tourist attraction that sits right next to a beach. Today I will be showing you the purposes of the Palma Cathedral. It is a large building made from sandstone. It was built in the honor of Virgin Mother Mary. The role of the Cathedral is to serve God. It symbolizes God's presence and glory. It was built specifically for the Roman Catholic Church. It was also made for liturgical rites. We went inside for less nine dollars each. The inside of the Palma Cathedral is even more stunning than the outside. It has giant walls with large and stained glass windows. Chandeliers and crucifixes hang from the ceiling. It also contains many pews and giant pillars. As we walked around, we noticed many religious artifacts that are used during services. These included bibles, candles, and crucifixes.


Religion isn't the only purpose of the Cathedral. The beautiful building and the gorgeous beach beside it attracts many tourists. People come from all over the world to view the amazing site. Over ten million people from all over the world visit the Palma Cathedral each year. Palma de Mallorca is the fourth most popular place in Spain because of the incredible site. Not only do tourists visit the Cathedral, but so do many historians and researchers. They can study the Palma Cathedral to learn more about the history of Spain and how they practiced their religion.
